If there was ever a day of the week that could be dubbed the official must-have-coffee day, it is Monday. So, it’s only fitting that the Fishbowl would feature Java’s Brewin’ in Limerick, PA as today’s pick for our Local Market Monday.
The Barretta family had dreamed for years of opening a coffee shop as a family business and in May of 2007 that dream came true, much to the benefit of Limerick residents. Java’s Brewin’ has been a fixture here ever since. Their cozy atmosphere and friendly customer service make you feel at home and who doesn’t love free wi-fi while you’re sinking into an inviting, over-sized arm chair? Lisa is happy to fix your favorite specialty coffee drink or you can just grab a cup of Joe on the run. If you have a minute, pull up a chair to the window bar and enjoy one of their freshly-made, enormous breakfast or lunch sandwiches. Its two meals worth of food! But, by far, my absolute favorite item at Java’s Brewin’ is made fresh every morning with extra love by Bob “The Muffin Man” Barretta. The muffins are simply amazing. They alone warrant a trip to Java’s Brewin’. And, if you are lucky enough to come on a slow muffin day, you might even get to sample some of the leftovers in Bob’s very own muffin bread pudding. Yes, I said muffin bread pudding!
Java’s Brewin’ also offers catering for your next special event and if you need a place to host it speak with Bob or Lisa about reserving their private room. This business has a lot to offer, not the least of which is it’s commitment to the community and its customers. So, introduce yourself when you come in and let them know what you think of their products and service. They value each person who stops by and they will work hard to help you feel welcome so that your experience is as positive as it can be.
The only downside to Java’s Brewin’? Coffee IVs are not available at this time. But, hey, no one is perfect, right?
