8th Annual Main Line Jazz and Food Festival

Ladies and Gentlemen prepare your walking shoes and make sure you have plenty of sunscreen to slather onto the kids, the 8th Annual Main Line Jazz and Food Festival is back in town!

On Saturday June 11th from noon until 9 pm the center of Wayne will become the site of one of this summer’s most exciting events. With North Wayne Avenue open only to pedestrians, and the shops of downtown Wayne buzzing, the business district is ready for a big day full of fresh sounds and fabulous food!

Featured restaurants this year include many favorite local treats: Christopher’s, the anchor of the festival will have a full menu and extended outside seating available all day. The newly crowned “#1 Chinese restaurant in America,” Yangming, is back with their buffet of crowd pleasers. Also expect a great showing from The Boathouse, Margaret Kuo’s, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Verdad, Cupcake’s Gourmet, Matador and Peace a Pizza Catering. Wayne’s newest restaurant Xilantro is a first time participant and their highly anticipated menu will be available for the tasting with seating on their patio ready and within view of the stage!

Talk about fresh local flavor, Radnor High School’s Jazz Big Band is the opening act for this year’s festivities, followed by continued great music throughout the day from Laura Munich and Matisse Jazz, Ellas y Amigos, Jeff Bradshaw & Brass Heaven, and Highbrid. A display of local art will also grace the streets as part of the 3rd Annual Wayne Art’s Center exhibit.

Thanks to the Wayne Business Association, the Radnor Middle School parking lots are available for parking throughout the day, and do not forget the convenience of the R5 line either. This is the one day in Wayne that you do not want to miss!
