“Eat to Defeat Domestic Violence” Week Coming to West Chester

The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County and the Crime Victims’ Center of Chester Co., Inc. have teamed up to host “Eat to Defeat Domestic Violence” Week in West Chester, beginning Sunday, Oct. 16 to Saturday, Oct. 22.

Since October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the local organizations have partnered with area-wide restaurants to together support the cause. If you dine in-house at any participants (list below), they will donate a portion of customer checks to the  two agencies, to help them provide services to victims of domestic violence and their dependent children.

Participating restaurants include: Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, Amore Pizza & Restaurant, Side Bar & Restaurant, Kildare’s Irish Pub, and Brother’s Pizza & Pasta.

You must present the below flyer in order to have a portion of our check go towards supporting the cause.

Domestic violence affects one in four women, and one in seven men. For more information about the issue and the local agencies that provide services, please go to www.dvccc.com and www.cvcofcc.org.
