First impressions: What did you think of each others appearance? What were they wearing? Was that your style, etc.?

Adam: When we first met, I saw that she was really pretty and had on a great outfit. I thought everyone was dressed appropriately, we knew it was a sports bar type of place so nothing fancy. The girls both looked nice.

Jen: When I first saw Adam I thought he was cute. He was just wearing jeans with a light blue shirt, I would say he was my type.

The other singles: What did your friend think of the other single?

Adam: They seemed to hit it off when they were talking together. Pat agreed with me that Jen definitely seemed like my type.

Jen: Renee thought he was really nice, just not her type. She feels he felt the same way, just going along for the ride!

The Conversation: What did you talk about when you first arrived?

Adam: When we first got talking, it was pretty much about how we got set up together and some questions about each other. It was kind of funny because when Adam and I parked, we notice to girls parked beside us sitting in the car and weren’t really sure if they were our dates, so we just walked in (it’s not like you can knock on someone’s window and ask them). As it turns out it was actually them, so we had a good laugh about that.

Jen: When we first walked in, Adam recognized me. We just talk about what we thought was going to happen at this dinner.

The Date: What was the plan? Were you okay with this?

Adam: We got set-up to have dinner at PJ Whelihan’s and it was great. Both the food and the restaurant were awesome. I was completely fine with this set-up.

Jen: The plan was just dinner and drink, I was totally cool with all of it.

The Restaurant: Had you been there before? What did you think of the atmosphere?

Adam: I’ve never been there before, but the atmosphere was great. It was very spacious with a lot of televisions and a pretty big bar area. I found it very welcoming.

Jen: No, I was never there. I actually never heard of it before.

The Food and Drinks: What did you order? How was the food? What was your favorite dish?

Adam: The food and drinks were great. The waitress actually recommended a few appetizers, which were all pretty good. We had wings and a crab dip, but Pat definitely liked the cheese steak nachos the best. I had the Salmon; everything was really well made. We had the Copper Lager [brewed by Victory Brewing Company for PJ’s] they had on tap, which went well with all the courses (except maybe the dessert Pat had, the cheesecake).

Jen: I ordered crab cakes. I really liked Adam’s salmon the best. We had a bunch of appetizers to start, with my favorite being the honey wings.

Chemistry:

Was there a good connection with each of you? Was it awkward at all, etc.?

Adam: The chemistry was great, we had a lot in common and were laughing a lot through the whole night. There was no awkwardness, at all. Renee and Pat both work in banking, so they actually had a lot to talk about. We were all joking around and laughing the entire night!

Jen: I think we had a good connection.

Your Friends: Did they hit it off? What did they think of the conversation with their blind date?

Adam: They seemed to have good conversation. Everyone was talking and laughing the entire night.

Jen: They had a lot in common since they both work in a bank.

Was it a match? Do you think this was a match for you Jen and Adam? How about for your friends?

Adam: I think we had a great time and it was a good match, not sure about Pat and Renee. Pat thought Renee was great. We all had a really friendly atmosphere going.

Jen: I think Adam and I could be a match. For Renee and Pat, I would say they are better off as just friends.

Kiss: Did you? Did they?

Adam: No one ended up kissing, but the night ended well.

Jen: No kissing, but I gave a hug to both of them and Renee just said good-bye.

Exchange numbers? Did you all get each others numbers?

Adam: Yes we did.

Next date? Will you be going out again?

Adam: I hope we get together again soon. Pat didn’t get Renee’s number, so they probably will not, but like he said, it wasn’t because he didn’t have a good time.

Jen: I think we are planning to hang out again, but not sure when.

How did you leave it?

Adam: We have each others numbers and are talking to set up something. We all left it on a good note. Good food with good people! Exceeded expectations!

Jen: We decided to talk to each other soon.
