Sibling Chefs Patrick & Terence Feury to Collaborate For a Beer Dinner

Two of the area’s culinary heavy-hitters, brothers Patrick Feury of Nectar Restaurant in Berwyn and Terence of Fork Restaurant in Old City, will join forces with Victory Beer’s Bill Covaleski to create A Feurious Night, a four-course culinary collaborative beer dinner on Monday, October 17.

The Feury brothers will celebrate the last servings of their Fists of Feury, the duo’s golden English-style pale ale as brewed with Victory Brewing Co. If you have yet to sip on FoF, it is important to note that this brew’s secret ingredient is rosemary, an herb that the Feurys’ can’t live without. Incorporating rosemary alongside English and American hops allowed the brothers to create a beer that hosts a refined, crisp finish – a blend that will be forever of note in the mind’s of local craft beer lovers.

The upcoming must-attend beer event will jump-start with a plate of fish charcuterie, featuring salmon pastrami, seafood sausage, and tuna tartar, and paired with a Harvest Pils. Soon, guests will dive into a warm citrus poached lobster salad complimented by Fists of Feury, and a wild striped bass en crepinette with Asian pork belly and a root vegetable glaze that goes well with a Yamika Twilight.

The night’s cheese course will feature a local goat’s milk cheese from Yellow Springs Farm, one that is wash-rinded in Fists of Feury. The creamy plate will be additionally served with apple mustard strudel, and paired with a V12.

The Victory-infused four-course beer dinner is available to guests for $65 per person. Guests are also invited to order dishes a la carte. The evening will take place at Patrick’s restaurant, Nectar, which is located at 1091 Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, PA. For reservations, visit www.tastenectar.com or call 610-725-9000.
