Side Bar and Restaurant, East Gay Street’s upscale casual restaurant and bar that focuses on excellent and affordable food and spirits, will celebrate its two year anniversary with a packed weekend lineup from Nov. 11–13.
The celebratory weekend will begin on Friday, Nov. 11 with very-limited, big beer tappings. If you are a local craft beer enthusiast, the weekend-long rare beer offerings with perk your attention. At noon on Friday, expect to sip one of the owner’s personal favorites, the last of restaurant’s Dogfish Head’s Punkin Ale. Dogfish’s Johnny Cask, The Lost Abbey’s Angels Share (Bourbon Barrel Aged), Brooklyn Companion, and Stillwater/Mikkeller Collaboration’s Two Gypsies will also join the fine lineup.
On Saturday, Nov. 12, Side Bar & Restaurant will host their Two Year Anniversary Party, so if you love Side Bar and what they have brought to downtown West Chester, take part in the festivities from 3–5 pm. And, don’t skip the festivities on Sunday, Nov. 13 either, including more big beer tappings during brunch like Dogfish Head’s 120 and for the first time ever at Side Bar, Russian River’s Pliny the Elder–to be tapped at noon.
