The Queen of England beat out Lee Marvin, Bill Murray, Tyra Banks, Johnny Weissmuller, and Dr. Ruth to win this past Tuesday’s Story Slam!
OK, actually Andy Meehan, a first time West Chester Slam storyteller, won with his story about sightings of the Royal Family while working in the Royal Gardens. You can watch his story here:
The packed audience heard many interesting stories, learning which celebrity doesn’t tip in restaurants, which celebrity likes free mints, and which celebrity thinks his own son is a rock star. Videos of several stories are available for viewing on the West Chester Story Slam’s archive page.
The October Slam was the final regular slam of the season, and now the winners from the past ten months are fine tuning their stories for the Grand Slam, which will take place on Tuesday, November 8th at 8PM on the second floor of Ryan’s Pub.
