Nectar Restaurant to Introduce Fighting Feury at Tasting Dinner

We know you’ve been yearning to get your taste buds wrapped around this brewtherly collaboration ever since we dropped the bomb about it’s second debut in early May. The craft beer introduced by two local chefs is making a bold appearance after the dust settles from Philly Beer Week at Nectar Restaurant in Berwyn. Don’t miss it!

Fighting Feury, brewed by the brothers at Yard’s Brewery, is a bold, assertive pale ale, with American hops and kaffir lime leaves thrown into the boil. The beer will be introduced at a special tasting dinner. Join the brothers at Nectar Restaurant on Thursday, June 14th for a hopping multi-course meal. The cost is $55.

Start with kona kampachi with a watermelon scallion salad with a tomato lemon balm nage by Terrance. The second course is a grilled house smoked salmon, with leek fondue, Meyer lemon and dill jus. Duck ballotine with cassis mustard, pickled ramps, and baby scarlet turnips will be the third course. And to end the meal, enjoy  fighting Feury aged goat cheese from Yellow Springs Farm and Asian pair strudel. Sound good? As always, these fabulous Feury chefs have created a brew to surely please, and a tasting menu to match. For now, the beer is only available at the restaurant, but plans are to bottle the brew for sale later in the summer.
