Beer Cakes Philly and Collaborate Philly are joining forces to celebrate the local beer scene and give back to the community at the upcoming Philly Beergasm. The event, which will benefit Philabundance, will take place on Thursday, March 28, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Yards Brewing Company.
Local chef Dan Berlin of Bongo Zeptobrewery will prepare a menu featuring items made with beer provided by the breweries in attendance. Featured breweries for the event will be Forest & Main, 5 O’clock Brew and various Philadelphia home brewers. Spodee will provide Spodee wine/beer cocktails, and Beer Cakes Philly will provide their delicious beer-infused desserts. Live music, raffles, a free tour of Yards and other activities (including a chance to “Cream Your Own Cupcake”) will also be part of the evening’s fun festivities.
