First Annual Sophia Jam Fundraiser Coming to the American Helicopter Museum, April 27

The first annual SophiaJam–a benefit of food, fun and music supporting the Sophia Agatone Trust–is debuting Saturday, April 27, at 4 p.m., at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester.

SophiaJam will be rocking the museum to raise funds for a great cause. Local bands Wooden Wire, Crows Feet and Who Needs Nigel have donated their time and talent to this concert-themed event. Redhound Grille Catering will be providing the delicious eats for the evening.

Featured at the event will be a raffle for a 15-minute helicopter ride for three winners, which will take place during the concert (weather permitting). Walk out onto the tarmac, don your goofy helmet and climb aboard Liberty Aviation’s helicopter for a scenic ride around the skies of Chester County!

Proceeds from SophiaJam will benefit the Sophia Agatone Trust, established in 2012 to help cover the long-term medical and supplemental expenses for 9-year-old Sophia Agatone, diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis four years ago. Sophia is the niece of West Chester residents Kevin Agatone and Judy Shaw, owners of flowers by the greenery in West Chester. Event founders intend for this to be a legacy, family-friendly community event for years to come.

Tickets, $20 for adults and $10 for children, are available in advance and include concert admission, buffet and beverages. Tickets will also be available at the door ($25 for adults, $12.50 for children). Contact Judy at (610) 608-9961 or via email for more information. Credit cards are accepted for payment.
