Kimberton Whole Foods Apothecary to Offer Cleansing Program for the New Year!

New year, new you. Isn’t that how the saying goes? Before you start crash-landing one fad diet after the other, consider a cleanse to get things started on the right foot.

Kimberton Whole Foods is launching a cleansing program designed to help rejuvenate and detoxify using raw food and green drinks. Their plan packs a ton of nutrients in an easily absorbable form to nourish and cleanse. The program is a perfect post holiday reboot and a great way to transition from one season to the next. The combination of healthy eating and moderate fasting works wonders to help reacclimate digestion and to set you on a health-minded track. In addition, to super charge health into your new lifestyle, KWF is offering a sports nutrition lecture series. Working with Nutrition in Motion, the healthy partners have put together a wonderful schedule (see below) where classes are held on different dates at 2 p.m. for $10 per person ($15 if not pre-registered). The lectures will be will be interactive and audience participation is encouraged. Samples of Vega Sport will be available, and a discount on purchases is offered if guests buy the day of the lecture/workshop. The lectures are not adults only so bring your teen athletes, friends, training buddies, etc..
