We’re excited about this news from Sly Fox Brewing Company: Grisette Working Class Ale, a spicy, unfiltered 5.6% Belgian-style Ale that’s been on draft only at Sly Fox and a few other spots, has just been released in 12 oz. cans!
Grisette is named for the gray frocks worn by the women who served it to miners as they emerged from underground at the end of their daily shifts (learn a bit more about these ladies on the back of the can). Grisette is rarely brewed in the United States and even more rarely packaged.
Cans of Grisette Working Class Ale will be released at the Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery on Friday, May 24, and will be available at local retailers in the near future.
Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery is located at 519 Kimberton Rd. in Phoenixville; phone: (610) 935-4540.
