This Saturday, March 9 from 1 to 5 p.m., will mark the Second Annual Meadows Rocks! Fundraiser, hosted by Simpson Senior Services as a way to support their Caring Friends Fund. This year, the crazy Meadows Rocks! crew is welcoming The Rivers Rockabilly Trio to keep things energetic and they’re bringing P.J. Whelihan’s back for the “Off Your Rocker Awards Finale,” which means delicious eats for all who attend!
In addition, the afternoon will be filled with fun, games, music and prizes— a schedule boasting something for just about everyone—just like Chester County’s food scene. In fact, we have event organizer Roberta Healey chiming in on a few local foodie scenarios, featuring Meadows Rocks! sponsors, and letting us know why they ROCK! Do you agree with her tasty reasoning?
Enjoying farm-fresh seasonal cuisine at Amani’s BYOB.
The seasonal ingredients are only the beginning of creativity at Amani’s. Variety makes Amani’s rock. There is variety not only from season to season…but more importantly within each season.
Sipping through a fine selection of craft beers at The Drafting Room.
The beer selection is a local, regional and global tour. The fact that I can enjoy a Gouden Carolus Tripel makes the Drafting Room Rock!
Grabbing a nice warm coffee from Wawa to start your day.
My sister lives in St Petersburg, Florida…she called me the day the “Wawa Coming Soon” construction sign went up a few blocks from her house. Even Floridians know Wawa coffee is beyond compare. When it opened, she and her girlfriend were among the first in line!
Finding local, healthy groceries at Kimberton Whole Foods for your family dinner.
The selections and options at Kimberton Whole foods are like your favorite pair of slippers…make you feel good, reliable and always the best.
Relaxing with a few friends at P.J. Whelihan’s during their dynamite happy hour.
What better way to end the day than to enjoy pub favorites, great drinks and your friends? At P.J.’s it’s always exciting and there is a lot of variety.
