Transition Town Media (TTM) welcomes one and all to their celebration of International Permaculture Day on Sunday, May 5, at the Media Community Center! The Community Center is located at 301 N. Jackson Street.
Join the group for a very child-friendly potluck and film showing of Watermelon Magic, the newest film by local film-maker Rich Hoffmann. His movie, shot at Greener Partners’ farms, Hillside and Longview, is on its way to being shown on IMAX screens around the world. TTM will be premiering it at the Community Center (on a smaller screen) along with Hoffman’s earlier film, Fridays at the Farm, an award-winning film that chronicles Hoffman’s family’s love affair with the growing, harvesting and eating of food at local organic Red Hill Farm. Both films are delightful, kid-focused and entertaining.
