West Chester Public Library Hosts 125th Birthday Celebration, June 8

Celebrate a milestone with the West Chester Public Library on June 8! The 125th Anniversary Block Party, to be held on North Church Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will honor the library’s long history in the borough and kick off the Summer Reading program, Paging Through Time.

Performers, crafts, a moonbounce, food, demonstrations, local authors, music, antique cars and bicycles, children’s games and so much more will round out the day’s jam-packed list of activities. Find the full list of who’ll be there, which is growing every day, here.

Later that evening, enjoy entertainment and music with Randini the Remarkable and the Amerikids from 6 to 8 p.m. Feel free to bring a picnic, or purchase food from one of the food vendors in attendance.

The event will be held on the lawn near Milner Associates’ offices at North Church and Marshall Streets. For full details, visit the library website, and be sure to follow along on Facebook and Twitter!
