Do you embrace social media, or run the other way?
If your answer is the latter, learn how and why businesses should befriend important social media tools at the Tuesday, April 9, Women’s Referral Network of Chester County (WRN) monthly luncheon workshop, “How to Make Social Media Work for Your Business.”
Resources such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter are becoming increasingly important elements of the marketing mix. They help businesses engage customers and prospects in ways conventional marketing and customer relations tactics simply do not. It’s a fact: for businesses of all sizes, from large corporations to entrepreneurs, learning how to harness social media is smart business.
The event, sponsored by Cheryl Krass of Alexemi Publishing, will feature two social media-savvy speakers, Megan Armor and Nina Malone.
Megan, an account executive with Main Line Today, has been in advertising sales for five years helping businesses develop creative print and online advertising solutions, including a social media element, to forward their brands and improve their marketing strategies.
Nina, an independent consultant and area manager with Arbonne, uses social media to make connections, foster relationships, inform customers, educate prospects and communicate with her team. She also uses her social media skills as part of TheTownDish.com’s team of foodie and lifestyle authors. Prior to Arbonne, she ran her own marketing communications business after years in that field.
“Our speakers will show you that you do have the time to develop a social media presence,” said WRN Programs Co-Chair Brenda March of Absolute Acceptance Coaching. “They both have deep experience using these important tools and are seeing results.”
The Tuesday, April 9, event will be held at the Wyndham Garden Exton Valley Forge, located at 815 N. Pottstown Pike in Exton (Rt. 100 North near Gordon Drive). It begins with networking at 11:15 a.m.; the luncheon and program being at noon.
Pre-registration and pre-payment online is required by 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 4. Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members. The walk-in rate the day of the event is $30 for members and $35 for non-members (cash and check only for walk-ins). Save money: register online today!
