Exciting Mt. Airy news: the former home of The Wine Thief Bistro is being replaced by the coming-soon Cresheim Valley Grain Exchange.

We’ll miss The Wine Thief’s seasonally inspired menus that featured local products from neighboring farms and vendors, including grass-fed beef and fresh produce from Lancaster County, as well as a local selection of wines and beers.

We can’t wait to see where owners Chris and Sophie Simpson and Chef Trevor Elliot land next because we’ll be there!

Cresheim Valley Grain Exchange, backed by Marvin Graaf of Falls Taproom, is taking the rustic-chic atmosphere approach, styled in barn wood, reclaimed steel and glass. Focused on local, seasonal, and organic products, the Grain Exchange plans to feature country classics with a hint of modernism.

In a recent interview with Philly.com, Graaf reports that his new restaurant will be less beer-heavy than the Falls Taproom, specializing in high-quality food and cocktails. More “date night” than “wing night,” he revealed.
