Great American Pub Expands to Phoenixville, Taking Over Former Home of Columbia Bar & Grille

We have fantastic news, Phoenixville! The former home of Columbia Bar & Grille is getting a new restaurant—Great American Pub & Hotel. With current outposts in Conshohocken, Wayne and Paoli, the crew behind the Great American Pub is looking forward to carrying on the historic building’s traditionsall of which started in 1893.

The newest Great American Pub location will feature multiple concept spaces within the majestic Bridge Street building, from five elegant dining rooms, to two attractive bars, fireplaces, outdoor seating, and constant live entertainment. Visit them day or night for a casual meal and drinks, or for a special occasion, and enjoy signature dishes like brick-oven pizzas, steakhouse specialties, handcrafted sandwiches and burgers, and so much more.

Owner Tom Hemcher and his family, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal,  is in the process of “restoring a decorative bar, installing new flooring and booths, putting up new stucco on the exterior among other interior and exterior improvements.”

Look for an expected summer opening.

Great American Pub & Hotel will be located at 148 Bridge St. in Phoenixville. Stay up-to-date on developments by liking Great American Pub of Phoenixville on Facebook.
