As winter swings into full gear, days inevitably become shorter, leaving you with less daylight. Paris Bistro & Jazz Café is looking to shed some light on that situation as they introduce their newest Happy Hour concept: Le Cinq à Sept. Literally translating to “5–7,” guests can expect to enjoy varied French drink and food specials for $5–$7, Monday through Friday. “Le Cinq à Sept” specials will only be available at the bar; on Thursdays and Fridays, specials will extend to the bar inside the lower level jazz café as well.
Monday: Crispy oysters served with saffron aioli for $5, sparkling rosé for $5, Kronenbourg 1664 for $4.
Tuesday: Shrimp remoulade with poached then chilled shrimp for $6, Chardonnay de la Maison for $5, French martinis for $6.
Wednesday: Baby Bistro Burgers made with hand-ground 5-ounce brisket, chuck and sirloin topped with pickled peppers and Gruyere on brioche buns with Roquefort fries for $6; Cabernet de la Maison for $5; Bastille Boulevardier, a twist on the popular Negroni made with Bastille 1789, a hand-crafted French whiskey, Campari and vermouth, for $7.
Thursday: Escargot Wellington featuring five Helix snails, mushrooms, cognac, garlic, cream and herbs in pastry for $6; Le Fin du Monde for $5; French Manhattan with a splash of Gran Marnier for $6.
Friday: Tomato bisque & grilled cheese, featuring Comte, Gruyere and Brie cheeses inside buttered brioche, for $5; Bistro Fizz—sparkling Rosé, Lillet Rouge, and a twist of lemon—for $7; sommelier’s choice of wine for $6.
