Tuesday, August 5, is National Oyster Day—and what better place to celebrate this spectacular mollusk-centric holiday than at Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House? Not only will you have your pick of 15 different varieties of East and West Coast oysters, but you will also get some pretty fantastic deals as well.
Doc Magrogan’s locations in West Chester and University City will be offering Buck-a-Shuck oysters, $3 oyster shooters, $6 oyster Po’ Boys and $6 fried oyster platters. There will even be an oyster-themed contest: The guest who guesses the closest to how many oysters will be opened at each Doc Magrogan’s location that day will win a half-dozen oysters per week for a year. Time to put on those thinking caps!
