There will be plenty of do-gooding at the upcoming Winter Solstice Music Festival, slated for February 28 at Boxcar Brewpub. Handfuls of local bands will take the stage Saturday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m., all in the name of benefitting local volunteer organization SHiNE—which supports the The Cancer Program of Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital. These bands are donating their time and talents to help raise money for this gracious organization.
You’ll hear tunes from bands like Hake & Jarema, Bender, Midnite Blue, Late April, Pompeo Brothers and several more. Tickets are still on sale and, in conjunction with a raffle, all sales will help local cancer patients receive financial support while they fight their battle. Help make a difference and jam out to some good tunes while you’re at it.
