Is there a better way to spend your summer Friday nights than gathering outdoors with family and friends for a movie night under the stars and food truck offerings? We didn’t think so.
The Water Tower Recreation Center is the place to be for fabulous Friday night movies presented by the Chestnut Hill Community Association (CHCA). The fun begins at 7 p.m. when a local food truck rolls up and offers delectable dinner options for a pre-movie meal. At 8 p.m., settle in and enjoy a different movie each Friday night. The lineup for August is:
August 7: Despicable Me; food truck: Flying Deutschman
August 14: Ghostbusters; food truck: Prime Stache
August 21: Friday Night Lights; food truck: PBandU
As an added bonus, CHCA members can head to the membership tent and grab a free bag of popcorn and drink and enter to win a $50 Chestnut Hill gift card. Make the rec center your Friday family or date night spot for a movie under the stars!
