Take your cooking skills to the next level under the guidance of Chef Carl Drake, who is now offering intimate classes for groups of four people at his cozy BYOB on Germantown Avenue.
Drake, a Culinary Institute of America–trained chef who worked at Le Bec-Fin, Opus 251 and Bacchus Market & Catering before opening Drake’s Gourmet Foods and Catering, will guide you along the way toward becoming more proficient in the kitchen in a series of 2- to 3-hour-long classes, which give participants the opportunity to hone their ability in areas including sauces, soups, knife skills, hors d’oeuvres, one-dish dinners and more. You can even create your own class based on personal preferences and interests.
Classes, designed for those over the age of 16, start at 6 p.m. on Mondays and at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Complimentary wine is served to all students 21 and older. See the full schedule on the Drake’s website, submit a reservation for your preferred class and then get cooking!
