Up for a NYC trip this September? Then you’ll want to make plans to attend the Fifth Annual Craft Spirits Celebration on Thursday, September 14, from 6–9 p.m. at Houston Hall.
This exclusive event brings together distillers and spirits connoisseurs and newbies alike to embark on a tasting journey featuring spirits from around the world. In addition to libations samplings, guests will be treated to savory and sweet food pairing suggestions along the way.
The event is organized by Flaviar, an online spirits club, that has hand-selected a variety of more than 30 brands and 100 offerings from around the world. Guests will have an opportunity to sample rare, exclusive offerings from global powerhouses such as Oban, Woodford Reserve and Dictador, as well as small craft producers such as FEW, WhistlePig and Ilegal Mezcal.
Attendees will be led through a nosing and tasting of each spirit, and the theme of the evening—“Tasting is Believing”—will be enhanced via carefully selected food pairings designed to complement the various spirit offerings.
Tickets are now on sale for $100 per person and include a custom Flaviar branded Glencairn glass, spirits tastings and food pairings. Guests must be 21+ to attend.
“The Craft Spirits Celebration is all about bringing together people to explore fine spirits and connect with the community of like-minded people,” said Grisa Soba, cofounder of Flaviar. “Our Flaviar community gives us the ability to source spirits that they would not be able to get their hands on otherwise. In addition, we have been fortunate enough to be able to develop our own private bottlings as an exclusive offer, thus expanding the tasting experience.”
Whether you are a seasoned spirits lover or simply want to increase your knowledge as to the many intriguing libations out there on the market today, this event is for you!
