Delaware Valley Fields Foundation is excited to announce the inaugural Pennsylvania Spirits Convention on the eve of the Second Annual American Whiskey Convention on Thursday, March 23, and Friday, March 24, at Citizens Bank Park.
The American Whiskey Convention, the largest all-American whiskey event in the country, returns to Citizens Bank Park at 5:30 p.m. (VIP), 6:30 (general admission) on Friday, March 24, featuring a wide variety of whiskeys including Wild Turkey, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Sazerac Rye, Maker’s Mark, Booker’s, Russell’s Reserve and more made from different grains, varying ages, production processes and taste profiles.
Attendees can interact with whiskey experts, distillers, malters and farmers during multiple intimate seminar tastings and discussion forums beginning at 3 p.m. Whiskey-world heavyweights Lew Bryson, Fred Minnick, Noah Rothbaum, Tyler Gomez-Basauri and Wild Turkey’s Master Distiller Jimmy Russell will be on-site to impart their wisdom and knowledge on dark-spirit drinkers.

Additionally, attendees will enjoy the Luxury Lounge with tailored items, accessories, straight-edge shaves, handmade shoes, shoe shines, jewelry, watches and more.
“We’ve created an event to highlight America’s whiskey renaissance and celebrate modern innovation while paying respect to the traditions and history of distilling here in the U.S.,” said Laura Fields, event organizer for the Delaware Valley Fields Foundation. “American whiskey needs American farmers and vice versa,” she adds. “Bourbon is liquid national pride.”
On the eve of the American Whiskey Convention, The Pennsylvania Spirits Convention, the first and largest of its kind, will take over the Hall of Fame Club at Citizens Bank Park at 5:30 p.m. (VIP), 6:30 (general admission) paying homage to Pennsylvania spirits and the farmers, craftsmen and distillers behind them.
The Grand Tasting Event will feature 110 craft spirits from more than 30 craft-spirit distillers, 40 specialty cocktails made by Philadelphia’s best bartenders, entertaining and educational discussion forums, artisans and craft vendors , local farmers, grain producers and more.

Nearly every craft-spirit distillery in the state of Pennsylvania will be represented; attendees will be amidst whiskeys, gins, brandies, vodkas, rums, barrel finished spirits and cordials from distilleries across the state, including Boyd and Blair (Pittsburgh), Social Still (Bethlehem), Bluebird Distilling (Phoenixville), Barrel 21 Distillery (State College), Old Republic Distillery (York), Stateside Urbancraft Vodka (Philadelphia), Manatawny Still Works (Pottstown) and many more.
“The magnitude of the response across our state by distillers and all related industries has been phenomenal. We are honored that so many craft distilleries are joining us,” said Fields. “We believe in cooperation and collaboration among distillers, farmers and producers, and the hard work behind those interactions will be on exhibit at this event.”
