Green Engine Coffee Company Planning New Dining Concept in Headhouse Square

Zach Morris and Kelsey Bush, the owner and general manager of Haverford’s Green Engine Coffee Co., have joined forces to pursue a new dining concept and signed a lease for the spot at 414 South 2nd St. on Headhouse Square.

Although the finer details are still in the works, here’s what we currently know:

  • The dining location will be an all-day concept. Morris, Bush and the future staff will be serving up Rival Bros. Coffee and a larger all-day food menu created by Bush, who is a Culinary Institute of America graduate.
  • There will be alcohol! The lease includes a liquor license. Morris, as a sommelier and distinguished beverage educator, will use his beverage industry experience to create a libations menu featuring wine, beer and spirits.
  • Ambit Architecture will handle the full-scale renovation of the 2,800-square-foot space.
  • The anticipated opening is late 2017/early 2018.
