On March 18, head to ChesLen Preserve from 2–5 p.m. for a nature-inspired event featuring bee education in addition to honey, wine and cheese tastings.
Representatives from the Chester County Beekeepers Association and Swarmbustin’ Honey will be on hand to discuss the basics of beekeeping and bee biology and behavior. After the educational portion of the afternoon, it’s on to taste honey from Swarmbustin’ Honey and cheese from The Farm at Doe Run, which will be paired with a selection of wines. Both Swarmbustin’ Honey and The Farm at Doe Run will have products available for purchase as well.
The cost to attend this informative and delicious day at ChesLen Preserve is $30 for Natural Lands Trust members and $40 for non-members. Advance registration is required and can be done online.
