“Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Drexel Hill when the latest Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 5045 Township Line Road on Friday, April 14.
To celebrate the grand opening, Moe’s will host two days of events focused on the community. On both Wednesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 13, from 5–8 p.m., Moe’s will host community night fundraisers for the Upper Darby School District. The suggested donation for each attendee will be $10 and will include an entree, a side and a drink. As part of its commitment to helping the community, the Drexel Hill Moe’s has selected the Upper Darby School District as the recipient of 100 percent of the net sales from the community nights.
“All of us at the Upper Darby School District are very grateful for the support of Moe’s Southwest Grill,” said Dana Spino, manager of media services at Upper Darby School District. “Moe’s will be joining a great community of people, and we look forward to having them in Drexel Hill!”
On Thursday, April 13, the attention of the community spirit and giving shifts to the entire Drexel Hill community. From 11 a.m.–3 p.m., the Drexel Hill Moe’s will host a special community event for all area residents. All guests will receive a free Moe’s lunch, which includes one free entrée and drink per customer. There will also be giveaways including a free t-shirt to the first 100 guests.
The community-focused celebratory week will culminate with Moe’s grand opening on Friday, April 14. During this event, the entire community is welcome to visit Moe’s to enjoy $6.99 burritos with a drink, an offer for the community that they will feature every Monday after the grand opening. Opening day celebrations will also include t-shirt giveaways and other promotions throughout the day.
Make sure to arrive at Moe’s early on grand opening day—the first 50 guests through the door on April 14 will receive free burritos for an entire year! This giveaway will entitle each winner to one burrito per week for a year at the new Drexel Hill Moe’s location.
