The big news keeps rolling in from Bluebird Distilling, with the latest announcements spotlighting the distillery’s recent awards and expansion.
Adding another medal to its long list of honors, Bluebird was the recipient of the 2016 Pennsylvania Wheat Whiskey Distillery of the Year award at the recent New York International Spirits Competition. As an added bonus, Bluebird Distilling picked up a silver medal at the competition for its wheat whiskey.
In other news, Bluebird Distilling is in the process of expanding its distribution areas to other parts of the country. In November, Bluebird announced a partnership with Breakthru Beverage of Illinois to get its spirits into the hands of those who live in the Midwest, and just recently, New Jersey locations, including stores, bars and restaurants, have been added to Bluebird’s distribution roster. Additionally, Bluebird Wheat Whiskey will soon be available in area Fine Wine and Good Spirits locations.
See what all the fuss is about: pop into Bluebird to try a specialty winter cocktail before the weather warms up and these delicious drinks are off the roster. Seasonal cocktails include the rye whiskey-laden Apple a Day and dark rum and apple cider-based Scotty Knows.
