Teddy Sourias and Craft Concepts Group are bringing a new restaurant and bar to Chestnut Street. Tradesman’s will be opening its doors come late 2017/early 2018.
Set to open up in the historic Tradesman’s Trust Building, this new dining and drinking establishment will boast a menu filled with regional American barbecue, local dairy and produce and plenty of craft beer and whiskey to appeal to the most discriminating of tastes. Lunch, dinner, brunch and happy hour will be served.
The 6,000-square-foot location at 1322 Chestnut Street is anticipated to accommodate up to 200 diners.
Tradesman’s will feature specialties such as Carolina pulled pork, Kansas City ribs, West-Texas brisket and California tri-tip in addition to appetizers, sandwiches, entrees and family-style platters. Alongside the barbecue menu will be local, sustainable produce, with Tradesman‘s working with Greensgrow, Fair Food, Baldor and others to continually rotate menu items to highlight in-season fruits and vegetables.
Adult beverages will be plentiful, with 40 regular taps, as well as two hand pump/cask ale handles, which will be exclusively serving American independent craft beer and cider. With the potential for custom offerings, the beer list will continually rotate through seasonals and small batch offerings from local producers, as well as regional and national breweries from across the country. Tradesman‘s beverage program will also include an impressive roster of roughly 100 whiskeys from American independent distillers. In addition, an inventive cocktail list will aim to please those who crave creative mixed drinks.
