True Food Kitchen, famed restaurant brand from Fox Restaurant Concepts founder Sam Fox and integrative medicine expert and author Dr. Andrew Weil, will open its doors on July 19 in King of Prussia. The new eatery will be located just outside of the King of Prussia Mall at 239 Mall Boulevard.
The 7,000-square-foot health-driven restaurant will make its Pennsylvania debut, featuring a signature summer menu laden with seasonally driven dishes and cocktails.
True Food Kitchen gains its culinary inspiration from the principles of Dr. Weil’s anti-inflammatory diet and merges nutrient-rich ingredients with a flavor-forward menu, which will rotate regularly in order to include fresh, seasonal ingredients to keep patrons excited.
Two signature dishes that will be included on the new summer menu are the Heirloom Tomato Pizza, with grilled artichoke, roasted garlic, vegan almond ricotta and black truffles, and the Pan Roasted Chicken, complete with corn, green garbanzo, Fresno chili, feta, cilantro and a pumpkin seed pesto. There will also be other enticing offerings, including flavorful and healthful bowls, sandwiches and antioxidant-packed desserts. A scratch bar will offer fresh-pressed fruit and vegetable juices, seasonal cocktails, wine and a selection of local beers.
The interior of True Food Kitchen King of Prussia will consist of a large open dining room and an open kitchen concept, which will bring guests closer to the brand’s culinary craft. Indoors, natural woods and vibrant, locally inspired artwork will be certain to add a contemporary touch to the earthy color scheme, natural elements and greenery. There will also be indoor and outdoor garden basins filled to the brim with fresh herbs and spices. In keeping with the overall environmentally friendly vibe of the establishment, eco-friendly materials will be utilized throughout the restaurant, such as the hardwood floors, which are made of reclaimed wood and dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles.
The King of Prussia location will also feature a private dining room, which will be available to accommodate small to mid-sized private group gatherings and events. Open daily for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, the full-service restaurant caters to a variety of food preferences, with access to gluten-free, naturally organic, vegetarian and vegan offerings.
