Rival Bros. Coffee Pop-Up Opens at NoBA in Bala Cynwyd

Rival Bros. Bala Cynwyd

Cross Properties has just introduced a partnership with Jonathan Adams and Damien Pileggi, co-owners of Rival Bros. Coffee. The popular, Philadelphia-based small-batch coffee roaster will launch a pop-up coffee bar within NoBA, located at 210 Bala Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. The pop-up coffee bar at NoBA is now open, and hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

NoBA is a $100 million, multiphase master development project, which will revitalize Bala Cynwyd’s centrally located Bala Avenue corridor into a vibrant community destination featuring locally curated retail, restaurants and modern living, and now, a highly sought-after coffee purveyor.

Patrons at the new Rival Bros. location have access to all of the tempting items available at other Rival Bros.’ cafes, including a full-service espresso and coffee bar with a selection of drip coffee and espresso beverages, as well as a menu of hand-poured, single-origin coffees, brewed to order via Chemex from their proprietary line of beans. For the non-coffee drinker, additional bottled beverages, including water, tea and sodas, are available.

There are also a number of food offerings at the NoBA location, including an assortment of artful pastries from Au Fournil, located in Narberth.

The launch of the pop-up coffee bar marks the start of a series of open-to-the-public “pop-up” neighborhood events, featuring a curated mix of local businesses, restaurants and artisans that will provide the community with a preview of the experiential, town center environment that NoBA will bring to Bala Cynwyd.
