Yard House, the award-winning restaurant known for its American fare and vast selection of craft beer, is opening its first Pennsylvania location on March 27 at the King of Prussia Mall and is preparing to fill 200 positions. Open interviews will be held on two days—February 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.—at the Yard House Hiring Center located at the King of Prussia Mall on the upper level just outside Neiman Marcus in suite 2933.
During the two days of open interviews, applicants can apply in-person, receive a same-day interview and engage with other potential Yard House team members with a friendly game of Giant Jenga or cornhole. Applicants can also take a spin at the prize wheel for a chance to win Yard House gift cards, logoed gear and more.
“We’re very excited to be opening our very first Pennsylvania location,” said Michael Kneidinger, president of Yard House. “We are assembling a large team of great individuals with varied skill sets. But more importantly, we are looking to hire people who demonstrate drive, motivation and willingness to be a team player.”
Those actively seeking employment can apply for positions ranging from servers, bartenders and hosts to line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, barbacks and bussers.
While Yard House offers a great work environment for those pursuing higher education or working toward career goals unrelated to the hospitality industry, there are also opportunities for professional advancement and growth.
“We are proud of our track record in promoting from within,” added Kneidinger. “Many of our team members who began their careers with Yard House as part-time servers, bartenders and line cooks are now in management and executive roles.”
The new Yard House at King of Prussia Mall will span more than 14,000 square feet with a guest capacity of 709 including seating for 110 on its patio. The center-island bar, a signature design element of Yard House, will offer 130 taps of beer including several local and regional brews.
Yard House is also accepting online applications from now through March 4 for those who can’t make it to the open interviews. For more information or to apply online, visit Yard House online.
