A glass of wine or a cocktail? The answer is “both!” with cocktails like sangria, mimosas and spritzes. Using wine in place of liquor is a fabulous way to shake up your usual drink options. It’s typically lower-proof and offers the smoothness and nuance we appreciate about wine, in a reimagined way.
The Grapefruit and Ginger Spritz marries fresh fruit and a ginger-infused honey with Pennsylvania Grüner Veltliner wine. Grüner Veltliner is typically dry, bright and juicy, making it an ideal choice for a spritz. The result is an invigorating, citrusy concoction that’s sure to lighten your day. The ginger’s spice balances beautifully with the tart punch of grapefruit for a lovely brunch, happy hour or anytime refreshment.
It’s an easy cocktail to make in just 10 minutes. Serve this pretty pastel potable in a wine glass with a slice of grapefruit, sit back and enjoy!
