Cider Cupcakes with Cinnamon-Spice Buttercream

Living in farm-forward county, we are lucky to have various fresh-pressed ciders at our fingertips. Filling up the fridge with gallons is a no-brainer for the holidays, no matter if you are serving it ice-cold, or piping-hot, mulled with a handful of spices. But, have you considered splashing your baked goods with cider, too?

Brooklyn baker Melanie Knigge recently published a recipe for Cider Cupcakes that make use of both apple cider and butter in their recipe, and are deliciously finished with a Cinnamon-Spice Buttercream.
