Maiale Deli and Salumeria, Meat Purveyor of Kennett Square Farmer’s Market

Every Friday at Kennett Square’s Farmer’s Market, from 2 to 6 pm, the petite Wilmington, DE-based salumi shop,  Maiale Deli and Salumeria, heads to the Mushroom Capital of the World to sling their handcrafted, housemade specialty meats amongst the area’s prized producers.

Maiale’s products range from cured meats and housemade pasta, to marinara sauce and handcrafted vegetarian spreads. Everything from their salumi to their meatballs is made in house from scratch. At Maiale, they believe that “better tasting food is made from fresh and local ingredients.” All of their sausages are fresh (including vegetarian varieties!) and made daily with no additives or preservatives.
