Building D behind the Chestnut Hill Hotel will soon transform into a magical holiday place where locals can snag gifts and gourmet foods from a variety of vendors (view recent peeks inside below). Deemed Sundays @ Market, the new organized gathering will take the place of Chestnut Hill’s Farmer’s Market throughout the winter, with the first one occurring on December 2nd from 11 to 4 p.m.
Some of the featured artisans set to attend are Philadelphia Salvage, Picked Vintage, Payton Woodcraft, Christine Shirley, Urbane tea, Green Market Purveying, Eastcote Lane, Baby Be Hip, The Pillow Works, Heirloom Studios, Joey Five Cents, Write Time Stationary and Sciascia Confections.
Although children are always welcome, the market will be particularly kid-friendly on December 9th and 16th, when Santa visits. There will be music and crafting activities for all the young ones thanks to Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels. It’s the perfect place for your holiday needs this year so don’t miss heading over to Chestnut Hill on any of the five Sundays in December. We’ll see you there!
