The happy brew news just keeps flowing out of Kennett Square. Kennett Brewing Company just announced that they’ve found their future home on South Broad Street!
Kennett Brewing Company was started by two couples who share a passion for well-crafted inventive beers. The company motto is “Kennett Brewing Company believes that everyone deserves extraordinary beer.” Founders Chris and Jen Braunstein and Mark and Jocelyn Osborne have spent years pursuing excellent traditional and inventive beers and soon realized that to savor the best beer all the time they would have to brew it themselves. According to their website, “Together they dedicated over 15 years of research, practice and achievement to develop their own beer to the category of extraordinary.”
Kennett Brewing Company will take over the space at 109 S. Broad Street on the lower level. They will brew their beer on site and plan to offer their extraordinary beer with a limited menu that will offer traditional taproom fare. A full menu of traditional beer styles will be brewed, as well as several unique offerings.
“We are really excited to bring some historical English ales and new flavors to Kennett. Everyone from those new to craft beer, to the real hopheads out there have something to get excited about. Kennett is a second home for us, and we can’t wait to contribute to the historic downtown and the community at large. This is as much Kennett’s brewery and dream, as it is ours. Together we are going to have an extraordinary brewery in this extraordinary town,” said Chris Braunstein.
