Learn About Pennsylvania Lagers, Sample Sips & Snack with Acclaimed Brewmasters (Oct. 21)

Fotor0100312596If you’ve ever wanted to sit down with an accomplished brewmaster, Bill Covaleski, president of The Brewers of Pennsylvania and co-founder of Victory Brewing Company, encourages you to join him and other area brewers as they plan for an evening of getting to know Pennsylvania lagers more intimately. Tickets are on sale now for the event, slated for Tuesday, October 21, from 6–8:30 p.m. at Sly Fox Brewery’s Tastin’ Room in Pottstown, Pa.

Included in the $60 ticket price is a sampling of local lagers and plenty of delicious bites from Sly Fox Brewery’s current pub menu. Also speaking at this event will be fourth generation brewmaster Bill Moeller, who’s been actively involved in the world of brewing for over 64 years. You can bet he’ll have plenty to add to the discussion on Pennsylvania lagers and how his family has had a heavy influence at many local breweries. Most notably, in 2013, Consumer Reports found Moeller’s Brooklyn Lager to be among the best lagers in America. Not too shabby, right? So, if you’re a beer lover and could use a refresher course on beer history, this event should be on your calendar.

Sly Fox Tastin‘ Room can be found at 331 Circle of Progress Drive in Pottstown.
