Taste the World is back for another season of delicious fun. Featuring Friday evening cultural walking tours and Saturday morning brunch and coffee shop walking tours, Taste the World is a great way to get a taste of the diverse restaurant scene in downtown Lancaster. Friday evening walking tours begin at 5 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Saturday morning tours begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 11 a.m.
How does it work? On the day of the event, arrive at the starting point to begin your tour. (Starting points are The Hotel Lancaster, 26 East Chestnut Street, for Friday evening tours and the Lancaster City Visitor Center for Saturday morning tours.) Arrival times are between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. for morning tours or between 5 and 6:30 p.m. for evening tours. You will receive a Taste the World passport, which includes a map and grants you access to the servings at participating restaurants. Plan your order of stops, allowing a suggested minimum of 75–90 minutes to visit all the locations. At each restaurant, a greeter will welcome you, stamp your Taste the World passport and give any specific instructions to receive your serving. While at the restaurant, take a look around, peek at the menu and soak in the tastes, sights and aromas before heading off to your next destination.
