Taco about a tasty day! The 2nd Annual Delaware Taco Festival is going down at Frawley Stadium on Saturday, August 26, from 1–7 p.m. If you need more than the words “taco” and “festival” to get you to the event, here are all of the details:
You’ll be greeted by over 30 of the area’s best restaurants and food trucks dishing out a variety of their best tacos. Try Thai-inspired tacos from Kapow Truck, authentic Mexican tacos from El Toro Restaurant or piled-high tacos from Del Pez Mexican Gastropub. Those are just three of the 30+ vendors involved in this food fiesta! There will also be a giant nacho bar. And what pairs perfectly with tacos? Margaritas, of course. Visit the frozen margarita bar, sample tequila (over 30 varieties) or grab an ice cold beer to enjoy along with your taco buffet. (Please note: all of the vendors will be selling, not sampling, their wares).
There will be entertainment on hand for all ages: a chili pepper eating contest, carnival games, a mechanical bull and a kids’ zone! Pro tip: Children under six years old gain free entry.
