On Tuesday, October 24, plan to indulge in a five-course bourbon dinner at 6:30 p.m. at any of the seven locations of Dave Magrogan’s Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar.
For $69 per person (plus tax and gratuity), those who reserve a spot at a Harvest dinner table will be treated to four decadent courses plus dessert, each of which will be paired alongside a different type of bourbon.
The five courses will include the following:
First Course
Magret duck prosciutto with wood-grilled frisée, orange-scented ricotta, mico mustard greens, roasted grapes, thyme and brown-buttered popcorn
Bourbon pairing: Chai Honey Old Fashioned using Basil Hayden’s bourbon
Second Course
Cider-braised pork cheeks with parsnip black pepper biscuit, pimento cheese and housemade pickle chips
Bourbon pairing: Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour featuring Buffalo Trace
Third Course
Cast iron pan-fried cornmeal trout with corn chili remoulade, fried green tomato relish and pickled jalapeno soup
Bourbon pairing: Jalapeno-Spiked Bourbon Julep using Koval Organic Rye
Fourth Course
Bourbon-aged, soy-glazed short rib with soft bloody butcher grits, fleur de sel caramel butter, bourbon ginger carrots and tangerine lace
Bourbon pairing: Kentucky Mule with Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Fifth Course
Butter pecan shortbread cookies with bourbon vanilla whipped cream
Bourbon pairing: Hot Butter Bourbon using Kinsey Bourbon from Philadelphia
