With white truffles being claimed as one of the finest delicacies in the culinary world, it was only fitting that Celebrity Cruises‘ Executive Chef, John Suley, recently attended the World White Truffle Auction in Grinzane Cavour, Italy. He successfully acquired 700 grams of the truffles and plans to implement them in his dishes for exclusive dining events. “White truffles are the ultimate luxury, and Celebrity now has two of the rarest in the world,” said the James Beard-featured Chef Suley, who added: “They’re a product of nature that even technology can’t replicate.”
