Enroll NOW: Fundamentals of Beer Class at Drexel University (Sept. 23)

Saint Benjamin Brewing Company - Wit or Witout

Back-to-school never tasted so good. Drexel University’s Center for Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts and Food Science has just a few spots left in its upcoming Fundamentals of Beer class, kicking off on September 23 and running for 10 weeks.

Every Wednesday from 6–9 p.m., this hands-on, glasses-up class will cover topics ranging from how beer shaped early human history and accelerated the end of the European Middle Ages to how beer enhances food, what drinking means in the modern world and what beer really tastes like. Students will make beer and will visit places where beer is made. There will also be a research requirement and final in-class presentation.

Ready to get your Beer Nerd on? Email Lynn Hoffman, Ph.D., adjunct professor at [email protected] with inquiries about the course. You can also register online. But do so quickly! Just a handful of openings remain in this brew-tastic course.
