Enjoy the great outdoors and feel the thrill of reeling in the big one at Linvilla Orchards annual Family Fun Fishing Derby. Take the family for a relaxing morning sitting on the banks of Orchard Lake, but you better be ready when your bobber submerges under water and you have a winning fish on your line!
Linvilla’s Orchard Lake will be filled with over 1,000 BIG trout waiting for you to catch and win BIG prizes! Get hooked on the fun competition and win a prize for being the first to catch a Golden Trout in your age group. The annual Family Fun Fishing Derby is Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transportation from the Farm Market to the pond will be provided beginning at 8 a.m. The entry fee for each fisherman is $14.99 and no fishing license is required. You get to keep one fish and each additional fish is $4.99 per pound. Linvilla will have plenty of bait for sale and fishing rods for rent. You are welcome of course to bring your own lucky rod and bait. A full day of fishing will surely make your family hungry. Linvilla Grill will be set up at the pond during the derby for lunch or stop by the Farm Market for some sweet treats on your way out. Come to the Family Fun Fishing Derby.
