The area’s newest speakeasy and supper club, JMarie’s of 1411 Wilmington Pike, announces their upcoming events that will serenade you while you step back in time.
On Friday, Aug. 19 from 6:30 to 10:30pm, if you enjoy the rich sound of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat “King” Cole, Engelbert Humperdink, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, Bobby Darrin, and Neopolitan favorites, this event is for you. Come sing along, dance or just reminisce at this restaurant. The dynamic vocal duo, comprised of Bill Mulloney and Scott McConnell (both of Media), will pay tribute to the greats, accompanied by their pre-recorded state of the art orchestrations.
Mulloney with his uncanny imitation of Old Blue Eyes, and McConnell with a rare interpretation of Humperdink and Tom Jones, have together performed at numerous upscale clubs and private parties in the area, and have decided to hit the appropriate setting of JMarie’s for a great night out.
Following a night of the Nostalgics live, on Sat., Aug. 30, from 6 to 10 pm, a live Frank Sinatra Vocalist Steve Ritrovato will hit JMarie’s stage. This live performance will be a rare opportunity for locals to enjoy incredible sounds from a performer that will trick you into thinking that Sinatra came back from the grave!
Evenings will also feature dinner and drink specials. For reservations to either events, call 484-716-3450 or 610-455-0115. Haven’t dined at JMarie’s yet? Read our full report by clicking here. Also, be sure to visit the speakeasy on Facebook by clicking here.
