Sunday, June 8, grab your bikes and join other biking enthusiasts for the 12th Annual French Creek Iron Tour. Sponsored by the French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust, the event will have more than 1,500 riders hitting the roads and cycling through beautiful Iron Furnace country.
All skill levels are welcome to join in on the fun. Courses from 12 to 100 miles will be available for riders to choose from, depending on individual riding skill. The various courses will wind through Iron Furnace country and offer spectacular views along the way.
Riders who take part in the 12th Annual French Creek Iron Tour will get to enjoy snacks from fully stocked rest stops and lunch after the ride. The French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust has been protecting open space acreage throughout northern Chester County since 1967. In fact, more than 11,000 acres of open space have been protected since that time.
