Bastille Day may be officially celebrated on Thursday, July 14, but for the area’s most notable French chef, George Perrier, he’s celebrating France’s Independence Day for an entire week.
Starting today, July 11 and running through Thursday, July 14, Perrier’s Wayne-based restaurant, Georges, will offer a celebratory prix fixe menu that includes three top-notch courses for $32.95 (plus tax and gratuity).
Menu will feature the following:
Appetizer
- Smoked Salmon
Grain mustard sauce, baby arugula, nut bread
- Escargot
Garlic-herb butter, shallots, dry vermouth
- Lyonnaise Salad
Frisee lettuce, lardon, potato, crouton, red wine vinaigrette, poached egg
Entree
- 8oz Flat Iron Steak
Georges’ pomme frites, red wine sauce
- Pan Seared Salmon
Sautéed garlic spinach, fingerling potato, sauce beaumoniere
- Coq Au Vin
Burgundy wine braised petite chicken, pearl onions, mushrooms & baby carrots
Dessert
- Choice of the A La Carte Menu
