Join Trattoria San Nicola for a Night of Italian Cars and Cuisine

Celebrate Father’s Day Weekend with an evening of fast cars, zippy mopeds and authentic Italian cuisine

Ever dream of driving a Maserati and a Ferrari, or zipping around town in a Vespa? Join Main Line restaurant Trattoria San Nicola on Saturday, June 18, for a special evening highlighting the hottest Italian cars, motorcycles and mopeds. From 6:00-8:30pm guests can admire and experience a Ferrari California and a Maserati GranTurismo Convertible from Algar Ferrari Maserati; stylish Ducati and MV Agusta motorcycles from Fast by Ferracci; as  well as two of Italy’s renowned Vespa mopeds from Philly Vespa.

After checking out the “power” in the parking lot, guests can sip on “The Vespa,” a new cocktail created especially for the evening. For dinner, choose from an extensive menu of Chef Vito Giannandrea’s authentic Italian dishes, like Penne Gorgonzola, penne pasta sautéed with a creamy tomato sauce and topped with gorgonzola cheese and smoked salmon; or Involtini di Vitello, veal medallions rolled with prosciutto, provolone cheese, and served in a demiglace and mushroom sauce.

“Checking out incredible Italian cars – what better way to kick off a Father’s Day celebration?” said Chef Giannandrea, who owns a vintage Vespa himself. “Guests are welcome to take pictures with the cars, motorcycles and Vespas before and after dinner. And if you’re lucky enough to own your own Italian car, take it for a spin and stop by San Nicola.”

Maserati’s GranTurismo Convertible is the first ever soft-top convertible to be built at the company’s Modena, Italy headquarters and boasts a six speed transmission and V8 engine. The New Ferrari California hard top convertible is the first of its kind from Ferrari and packs a powerful seven speed transmission under the hood for superior handling. The Ducati Diavel’s massive rear tire exemplifies the bike’s readiness, dominance and confidence and the MV Agusta exudes pure stylish expression.
