Tuesday Tasting at Blackfish Featuring Scallops

Liven up your Tuesday night by heading to Blackfish in Conshohocken for the featured  four-course tasting. Every Tuesday night, chef/owner Chip Roman preps a four-course tasting menu that spotlights one ingredient. Tomorrow, scallops will be showcased on as this menu’s special guest, and duck is up next for May 17’s menu. The cost is $45, excluding tax and gratuity.

 

Featured scallops’ menu for Tuesday, May 10:

First Course

Diver scallop crudo, ponzu, soy bean, daikon

Second Course:

Ultra rare scallop, romesco, cherry tomatoes, baby corn

Third Course:

Day boat scallop, english peas, golden raisins, madras curry

Fourth Course:

Chocolate-polenta budino, pistachio gelato

 

Featured menu for Tuesday, May 17th

First Course:

Duck pastrami, purple mustard, rye, mache

Second Course:

Roasted foie gras, strawberries, rhubarb, balsamic

Third Course:

Magret duck breast, kohlrabi, fava beans, white asparagus

Fourth Course:

Creme caramel, blackberries

 

Blackfish is located at 119 Fayette Street in Conshohocken.  The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30 to 10 pm; Friday from 5:30 to 11 pm; Saturday from 5 to 11 pm; and Sunday from 5 to 9 pm.  Lunch is served Tuesday to Friday from 11:30 am to 2 pm.  Outdoor seating is available in season.  For more information, visit www.blackfishrestaurant.com.
